Staff
The NeuLife team is comprised of clinical and administrative professionals, each contributing a unique set of skills and experience to the team. Collectively we have more than 200 years of clinical rehabilitation experience and provide an array of quality services and compassionate care for our patients and their families.
Outcomes
Brain Injury: 81%
Functional Improvement
Our patients with brain injuries access more than 81% of functional improvement from admission to discharge. This is made possible through comprehensive treatment plans that include a total average of 8 hours per day of nursing, therapies, neuropsychology, counseling, vocational/volunteer, wellness/exercise/health, recreation, community integration, and medical services. We use two nationally recognized measurement tools to measure functional gain:
Functional Independence Measure(FIM)®
FIM allows us to identify the severity of the patient’s disability and track functional gains during care.
Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory (MPAI)
MPAI assists in the clinical evaluation acquired brain injuries (ABI) and represents a range of physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and social challenges that patients may encounter. MPAI allows us to assess major obstacles to community integration.
Weekly Progress & Planning
Information Sharing
Every clinician at NeuLife attends a weekly grand rounds session to review and discuss each patient’s progress and develop care plans. Data collected during grand rounds is also put into outcome and progress reports that are updated weekly on our state of the art 24/7 portal. We provide all case managers, attorneys and family members with access to a secure portal with personalized information regarding their patient.
